In 2005, the Ministry of Education invested $5 million in Science World’s B.C. Program for the Awareness and Learning of Science (BC PALS) to help students get excited about science and technology.

I am pleased to hear that with the assistance of BC PALS, Science World has designed workshop materials for young children to explore their world. Parents and early childhood educators can access workshop material for their 3-5 year-olds in their care at www.scienceworld.bc.ca/preschool.

The workshop materials are modular and intended to serve as a starting point and inspiration for scientific explorations. The curriculum is designed for small and large groups and can be adapted to any environment.
